Poorhouse Quilt Designs was founded in September 2006, after designing the "Sampler Tote" as a gift for a family member. Our pattern line has grown since then - there are bags, bowls, quilts, banners, ornaments...you never know what we will come up with!
Poorhouse Quilt Designs also provides contract laser cutting to quilt shops and designers. Contact us for more information.

 Kris Poor Designer Kris has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a love of fabric and color; these seemingly conflicting pursuits have come together to form our company! |
 Bill Poor Laser Driver Bill has a degree in Industrial Technology and has retired from his corporate job, only to then plunge right into the quilt world! You can usually find him running the laser or packaging orders. |
