Kate Colleran from Kate Colleran Designs and I released 4 new patterns this month. They are part of our ReImagine Series. Sew much fun!
Our new patterns:
- ReSet Placemats - take 2 leftover blocks and make a set of 2 mats!
- RePlay Backpack - Use just one snazzy block to make a fun backpack - in 4 sizes!
- ReCover Apron - One block, apron in 2 sizes - perfect for Mother's Day!
- ReStore Bins - Who doesn't need a set of squishy bins for pick-up time? Perfect for toys, knitting, you name it!
This rounds out the ReImagine series - eight fun project patterns designed to use orphan 6”, 8”, 10”, or 12” blocks. Our projects make excellent use of your leftover blocks and are ideal for gifts! We've made our patterns available in printed paper, as well as digital downloads.

These patterns let you choose your own blocks, making them ideal for trying new techniques or using novelty prints, panels, embroidery, cross-stitch, pre-cut strips, or fabric scraps.
Some of the patterns use just one block; others use several.
Now let’s talk about the Finishing School Challenge!
This all started because Kate and I decided that this is a great time to use up some blocks; it’s January, so what better time to do this?
For the next few months, we will turn our leftover blocks into projects from our newly released patterns!
